Semi Trucks are necessary, but they also cause a lot of problems. They should be relegated to one lane and only pass in the case of a break down, or someone being on the side of the road. They cause many accidents, traffic jams and slowing of traffic. One one truck decides to pass a slower truck, and barely go faster what is the point? I have nearly been hit numerous times, and ran off the road because some truck wants to get over. And since they’re bigger, they don’t care if they hit you. Maybe we limit them to being off the road during rush hour in the morning and evening… But we need to do something to help the rest of us be safer, and be able to get places we need to on time.

Or just leave earlier to get to where your going. How about instead of limiting trucks to 1 lane they make lanes just for trucks. I would recommend you ride with a trucker for a day and you will see its not usually the truckers, its the cars.

Can you imagine trying to get on or off the expressway with a line on semi trucks all stuck in one lane trying to work and make a living while supplying people what they need to survive?
