The illegal immigrant has 90 days to register with a law inforcement agency affiliated with homeland security after a publicly announced date is set. If they comply their case will be considered after one year in order of date received. After the 90 day deadline another 90 day window begins with another year added to the original 1 year waiting period and so on up to one year. After 1 year following the original 90 day start date all undocumented peoples will be considered enemy combatants. The only guarantee for compliance is a consideration hearing and result reply.
Those illegals who are caught breaking the law, have a history unlawful behavior or have contact with authorities without disclosing their legal status will not be considered for reentry and be placed on “enemy combatant” status facing immediate deportation.
There should also be repayment of any taxes owed on unclaimed income, as well as repayment for any entitlements received plus fines for entering illegally. Unpaid repayments would accumulate interest until paid, and no legal entry will be granted until all repayment is made.
I truly appreciate your comments. And in many ways I agree, however, in considering many of these people came by invitation from current and former administrations, I would consider a payment plan if the illegal showed proof of gainful employment. I would not want to force poor people to consider illegal or dangerous behaviors to repay a debt they had no knowledge ofwhere it came from. I’d rather levy a fine against the accounts of many politicians and cabinet members.
