There is currently so much fear regarding same sex marriage being overturned by the supreme Court. We need to make sure it can’t be and bring peace to our country regarding same sex Marriage. At this point we can’t cause fear and possibly separate families. We need to come together and ensure this can’t happen.

It’s already a Federal law. The Respect for Marriage Act (2022) recognizes same sex and interracial marriages under Federal Law. It was signed into effect by Biden.

The argument is “they overturned roe” , trump could reiterate zero intention to overturn same sex marriage.

If anyone does try to overturn same sex marriage, perhaps it might be less traumatic to simply say no more new same sex marriages and let the current ones stand as they are so as to not rip apart established families.
I’m surprised I got a thumbs down for that. Should we rip apart established families and send their children to an orphanage instead?
The sin has been committed and accepted for years. They’ve been given children to raise. It can’t be taken back by adding emotional harm to the children.
Prohibiting new gay marriages would prevent new approved unions of sin. It seems like the best option in a bad situation.
If there’s no children then it could be dissolved if that’s how people want it but the kids should not be removed from their family home. It’s not their fault their parents are gay.
