There are so many people including myself who don’t know how to do their taxes, get a car, buy a house,buy land, build and keep credit. I strongly believe these topics should be taught in schools. From middle school on up. The students should be proficient in these categories to get their diploma. I do believe if the department of education was to enforce this policy, the next generation and ones to come, will be more successful, will have a better chance than we do. I wish I would have learned this. My car is a 2012 Honda Civic, no add ons, had roughly 40,000 miles on it, needed all new tires and a new transmission, it’s was over $20,000. I don’t know how to do my taxes and my credit needs a lot of help. Learning all of this at a younger age would have helped me get a better deal on a better car and have good credit and do my taxes on my own. Let’s implement this for the children!
