Sanctuary City and State Sanctions

Any U.S. city or state that identifies as a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants may risk losing federal subsidies, grants, and funding from the federal government. By supporting illegal activities through state or local legislation, these jurisdictions can create safety risks and impede the enforcement of federal laws. These actions may be construed as aiding and abetting criminal activity. Failure to assist federal agencies by the states and cities may violate federal laws and mandates and be subject to sanctions, including the loss of access to federal funds. This legislation aims to safeguard the welfare of all American citizens who have entered the country legally. However, the actions of certain cities and states that choose to disregard these regulations may face significant consequences, including disqualification from federal assistance until they align with federal agencies in upholding the rule of law.

I’d vote for this, but I’m out of votes.

I had the same idea. It would be extremely effective to do this.

All the illegals should already be flocking to the sanctuary cities anyway. This should overwhelm them, not just in terms of space, but also in terms of resources. They won’t be able to fund them, and they wont have any space to put them all.

This will likely lead to increased crime, which will possibly turn the people against them.

But even if it doesn’t, the cities would be strangled because of lack of funding and space.

Pass a law that only American citizens and legal residents are counted in the Census. Sanctuary cities maintain the illegal resident in their jurisdictions because it inflates their populations and therefore their representation in Congress.
