Rideshare fair pay

This is a push for a federal minimum wage of $1 per mile and $22 per active hour for all rideshare and delivery gig drivers. Rideshare and delivery drivers, the backbone of a multi-billion-dollar industry, deserve a fair wage. Currently, Uber, Lyft, and doordash have the power to unilaterally cut pay rates, leaving drivers with less and less income for each mile driven, often paying rates of 50 cents per mile which is below the federal milage rate of 67 cents per mile, which is where the federal government considers drivers to be breaking even. These rates often fall below federal minimum wage standards, forcing drivers to work longer hours just to make ends meet, if at all. Unlike traditional employees, rideshare and delivery drivers lack the collective bargaining power to negotiate for better wages and working conditions. A federal minimum wage for rideshare and delivery drivers would ensure a living wage, protect workers from exploitative practices, and promote a more equitable gig economy.

I think it should be two dollars a mile.

I definitely agree for the black tiers, but for regular X, I think $1 is fair
