Opinion:
Can we restructure FEMA to be an organization with skilled workers? Let’s hire contractors that can do plumbing, electrical work, construction, etc. FEMA does nothing but pass out paperwork and canned goods to victims. Hurricane Helene relief efforts were atrocious. FEMA whistleblower has announced that they release funding by demographics, race, and religion. The corruption in the government is absurd. Government Emergency Management aid needs to be for the people!!
