We have seen that the internet space is like for young adults 18 and up. How adults act on line to one another, how trolling, bullying, S.W.A.T.I.N.G, reveng porn/AIporn and stalking is online.
Apps, Video games, and the internet isn’t a safe place for young children to be when we can’t even manage for us adults to no be affected negatively by it. No wonder depression is at an all time high, No wonder our kids look like and act like teenagers or adults when they stumble upon adult content or are allowed access to apps, chat rooms, video games with out adult supervision or knowledge.
Even kid safe apps, have creepy sexual predator’s making accounts and trying to get access to kids. I would like to have a law passed banning kids under 18 years old to be online. No Facebook, No snap chat, No rodbox, None of these websites where they can post photos, no apps that they can have chats in or find chat rooms. No video games were kids are talking to adults. No more family bloggers, we all saw what’s been happening there with the Ruby Franky case, kids as influencers. No tiktok, no youtube, nothing none ect…
Kids need to go back to being kids, not worried about getting likes, or followers, no pushing products and making money from online strangers. If they want to earn money go have them do some chores, open lemonade stands, sell cookies or mow your neighbors lawn. The media industry is not a safe place for kids. Take a look at Nickelodeon, and the music industry. Shirly Temple. Kids online, and on Tv should have been protected but they haven’t been.
Child actors should be replaced by puppet or as young 18+ adults. Just saying. There is a problem of media on our children. Let kids be kids again. They want to play video games online with their friends? Why not have them invite their friends over and play games at each others house like we used to do.
