Before woke, trans, and DEI in the military. If you were under medical care that required frequent in person care, rehabilitation, or application of perishable or medical professional administered medication you were considered non deployable and thus discharged from the military. Primarily as it could not be guaranteed that such care would be available in a deployed location and it may make that person a liability in the field. I propose going back to this standard as all military members must be deployable.
