Anyone who has served his or her sentence should be allowed to vote.

Also need to change the criteria for “violent”. As it stands anyone who allegedly even threatened violence and is convicted of a felony is considered a “violent” offender and treated as committing a violent crime.

Here in Ohio you’re able to vote as long as you’re not incarcerated. I think every state should be that way. I voted this year for the first time ever and have a year left on probation.

I believe everyone should be able to own a gun even if they have a felony. Because the second amendment has to do a tyrannical government so I believe even a felon has a right to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. If you do something bad with a gun you’re going to go to jail and then I understand you can’t have a gun when you get out but if you never did anything bad with a gun it doesn’t make sense. Like if you got into a fight when you were 20 and you happen to beat the guy up should you now not be able to have a gun the rest of your life. I think we just got to go back to how it was back in the day. Like when cowboys go to rested and they left they got handed that gun and belt and they were on their way. After the last 20 years I can see it more now than ever that governments can get tyrannical and we should have the right to defend ourselves no matter what we did in our past because that won’t matter.
I hope this came out right I’m driving and talking into my phone. Let’s get all our rights back and make it so they can’t take them from us ever again.
