It was with great excitement that I read your recent piece on how to end the culture war, especially regarding the always bitterly divisive issue of abortion. I want to introduce you to some friends and colleagues who have been championing your proposal for several years.
Professor Matt Deaton and I have been advocating and advancing the idea of utilizing artificial wombs (I call them Third Millennium Incubators) for a long time. Dr. Deaton’s book Abortion Ethics thoroughly chronicled various social, medical, theological, and political dimensions to the controversy and demonstrates why this novel biomedical approach may well be the only resolution that can bring a close to the conflict.
Our broader plan involves a three-prong solution to make this vision a reality, they are as follows:
- extension of safe haven laws to cover the entirety of pregnancy; 2) research and development into the technology; and
- an overhaul of adoption laws, so that any sound-minded loving parent can adopt a child.
Lastly, I am including in this missive two videos I have created to further outline these concepts. First I will send you a recent video entitled Third Millennium Incubators: Connecting Needs with Love, which describes all the sense-learning technological potential. The second, older video described the 50 year history of how the abortion controversy tore America apart, it is called Abortion Solved: Artificial Wombs (Third Millennium Incubators), (note this was created prior to Dobbs).
