The Galleri blood test can detect over 200 types of cancers in someone, before symptoms even show, and per their website, can determine where in the body the cancer is with about 85% accuracy.
70% of cancer deaths are causes by cancers we don’t routinely test for, and early detection can save lives! Currently the test is out of pocket and costs about $1000. But this test should be routine for all American adults and should be covered by health insurance as preventative care. It should be accessible for all.
