Require ID for pornography countrywide and require special added label for movies with pornography

Recent studies have shown men and women who consumed porn within the last 24 hours suffer nearly double in feelings of loneliness, unhappy about how they look and self conscious or insecure.

Pornography is fed to young people around the country to normal forms of media such as movies without much of a warning, it’s disgusting and needs to stop. Hollywood can’t keep pushing this agenda to get kids addicted to porn and porn websites must require IDs to view it.

Porn is just as dangerous to the body if not more than cigarettes and alcohol.

Most serial killers are addicted.

I agree that pornography has numerous negative effects (thank you for your details). We should all be able to agree on that. (Please everyone, don’t just put ‘agreed’ in the comments).
Is there a precedent to be used for requiring ID to visit a public website? I don’t like that idea as it stands.
Second, is there any data on whether additional warnings actually educates people better? (Think Surgeon Generals Warning on cigarettes).

The precedence is so young teens cannot access it. I have a 12 year old who has been able to freely access it (at his grandparents home). It’s absolutely disgusting how easily he was able to find it and access the website.
With ID requirements, he would never be able to until 18

We listen to the same music and I understand where you are coming from. This is a “Policy” website. It’s not Twitter, or Tiktok or Reddit. Those websites are designed for emotional opinions. You’ll have every comment on there agreeing with you. However, here we can discuss, without emotion, how to effect policy and real world changes. You are responding as a mother, I am responding as a social media policy analyst 2017-2020. (Thanks a lot covid).
