Insurance companies are not healthcare providers. They should not be the arbitors of what is or isn’t medically necessary.
All healthcare insurance companies should be required to provide coverage for all FDA-approved pharmaceuticals, and should not have the ability to blacklist any prescription medication as “not covered.”
