The US Preventive Services Task Force should be replaced with a group that doesnt make contradictory “guidance”. For example, a recent headline broadcasts that " US Preventive Services Task Force recommends against vitamin D supplementation for fracture, fall prevention" yet other studies support vitamin D for other indications. The general public read that the taskforce advises Against Vitamin D and stops taking it, even though it is recommended for other things. Further, the taskforce seems to be against preventative care and testing for find early and treatable cancers which leads to later Dx and more deaths from some diseases that how good outcomes if treated early, It’s almost as if they are being paid for by Big pharma to help get more and sicker patients to prchase their expensive drugs. Or to kill of people to save govt $.
