The use of domestic propaganda was legalized under the Obama administration after being illegal since the 1940’s. This has paved the way for divisive media reporting that has led to Federal Courts ruling that nightly news within the United States is to be treated as satire and placed on the same pedestal as nonsensical entertainment like “The Daily Show” or “The Colbert Report”. This is an abomination when it comes to the nation having a truly informed populace who can make decisions for themselves. Repealing the subsections that were passed as part of the National Defense Authorization Act that enabled this would result in an immediate change in tone from broadcasting corporations and place the United States in a better position to have an informed populace making decisions that are truly in their benefit.
