It was passed without properly including the southern states that had just lost the Civil War. It is an affront of the individual sovereignty of all state nationals, a prerequisite for the argument for federal income tax, and the national draft. The 14th amendment is part of the process by which the African slaves were freed only to facilitate the enslavement of the population in general.
