Remove the 16th amendment

The federal income taxes true purpose was to replace the tax money the government made on alcohol and other such goods when prohibition was passed. When prohibition was ended the 16th amendment should have been repealed immediately but wasn’t. Almost everything we own and everything we buy is taxed. The federal income tax does nothing but cripple the American people from saving, spending and cycling money through the economy. We are taxed way too much and this money can easily be replaced with tax money from other goods such as imports or a bigger tax on alcohol and tobacco. Just like it was pre prohibition.
