Revoke any and all subsidies and government money from farming practices that harm the public. Especially farms that produce GMOs, use Glyphosate, or any other chemical that causes harm to the public. Instead, we should be supporting Organic Farming in every way possible.
In order to qualify, Organic Farmers MUST take part of specific organic practices for example, animals must be outside a certain number of hours a day with a certain amount of land to roam. Some “organic farmers” are just Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) and are taking advantage of the bare minimums to be certified organic.
Certain types of feed should be banned as well for example, Soy. Soy is shown to have effects on the thyroid. With so many people having thyroid issues in the United States this ingredient should be banned from organic farm feed.
