We the people should not be forced to pay for funding of Sanctuary Cities and States. This principal provides a sanctuary for the lawless acts committed by illegals when they CHOOSE to enter our country illegally. It basically gives a free pass to those who do not respect our laws. As Americans, it goes against our basic principles listed, and our government is endorsing this practice which goes against their oath…to protect us against enemies foreign and domestic. As a hard working American, I should have a say in how my tax money is spent.
Enforce the US C already on the books for illegals:
8 U.S. Code § 1323 - Unlawful bringing of aliens into United States
8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens
U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien

Codes may be in place, but completely ignored by Democratic counterparts. Look at the negative $billions California runs yearly and is constantly bailed out by D.C.

IF states cannot fund their own policies then the Feds should not step in. Federal monies should not fund state policy. States need to self fund. Also, sanctuary cities should be on the ballot in each state and city. The “leaders” should not be deciding for the people. The “leaders” are bought or threatened to vote a certain way. Individuals voting for their city policy is the best way.

Sanctuary cities are magnets for illegals and illegal criminals making cities unsafe. It’s also all by design by Democrat politicians, illegals are part of your census and Democrats gain seats. It also puts a stress on the medical system and schools.
California used to be a two party state until they allowed illegal immigration to invade sanctuary cities.
California presidential elections from 1952-1888 were won by Republicans. The Latino population grew and it helped make California a Democratic state. Now our Democratic governor has ruined the once Golden State.

It would be nice if the states that squandered taxpayer dollars to pay and house illegal aliens had to pay all of that back to be returned to the taxpayers who have been working too many jobs just to try to survive.
