We are looking to rid the government of bad actors. Dr Oz does not belong in any part of this administration.
He was a joke in that election against Fetterman. It seems his only job was to quickly run away when it was over and not contest the election and keep anyone else from doing it. Remember the state of Fetterman?
I agree, terrible choice. Love his other selections for the most part but selecting Oz is a head scratcher.
He is not qualified. He has no experiance in the Department of Medicaid and Medicare. These are major programs in our government and with millions being users of them daily. We need someone in our government over these programs that have a clue and itâs not Dr. Oz. They need to be reformed and kept alive and not destroyed by a person in charge whoâs not qualified.
I cannot support anyone who doesnât understand what the so called âOpioid Crisisâ and subsequent 2016 Opioid Guidelines has done to Chronic Pain Patients. We are aging Baby Boomers, people with painful diseases, accident victims, including Veterans that fought for our countryâs freedom. We are NOT Addicts but are treated as such simply bc we donât want to live in pain. We need people who will listen and pay attention to the facts (ESPECIALLY the uncovered facts!) as to how the group of doctors known as PROP schemed to make certain the public, Physicians, etc., could not comment during the initial PUBLIC meeting on the guidelines. How the head of PROP - an âaddictionâ Psychiatrist is reportedly paid $250,000 or more to testify in court on the âdangers of opioids.â (He is also alleged to have bought substantial stock in Suboxone prior to this scheme.) Anyone with their head in the ground, not knowledgeable , and does not educate themselves or is not adept enough to see whatâs really going on behind the scenes should not be in charge of the administration that deals with it. The number of suicides caused by people doing so as their only alternative to end their pain continues to grow with each passing year. We should be punished bc FENTANYL and illicit drugs are flooding the streets and killing people! NO to DR OZ !
His job is not part of cutting cost for Medicare and Medicaid. It is part of the system that shows how and why the things the pharma does, doesnât do what they say. They work with other scientists that faught for years to have their voices heard that what the pharma world do not help the way they say do.
Just like giving babies hep B shot. The only reason they need it is if mom has hep B or if they are around dirty needles. But they give it. And give an adult dose. Ex you do not give babies or children antibiotics in adult dosages. Why would give a the shots to kids adult doses.
They are there to explain and to show other things like that. Not do away or change Medicare/medicaid. That money comes thru congress.
I hear you, I was shocked too when I heard Dr. Oz.
However, did you know, Dr. Oz was already apart of Trumpâs first term ?
âIn 2018, Oz was appointed to the Presidentâs Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition by President Donald Trumpâ
(Wiki - Political Career Section)
Trump said that Oz would work alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr., his nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services, which the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services is a subdivision of, to cut waste and fraud. Trump also said that Oz would âincentivize disease preventionâ.
(Wiki - Political Career Section. At the end of this section)
Knowing that the CMS is a sub division of the HHS that is headed by RFK, would it be safe to assume that Oz will be taking orders from RFK? Knowing what Oz has promoted for 13 seasons on TV (health, motivation, faith (no matter the faith), self healing, and exercise) is it safe to assume that he will push âdisease preventionâ as being stated by President Trump? ("Trump also said that Oz would âincentivize disease preventionâ.)
I am starting to think that Oz is not a terrible choice, but he must be a trusted one seeing how this is his second time being called on by President Trump. He is the CIC and we should trust his judgment a lot more this second term. I do feel that President Trump has our best interest in mind, and would only be choosing someone who would also have our best interest in mind.
Logically thinking too, President Trump would not have made a deal with RFK, if it did not give RFK everything he was looking to do. (the entire HHS reform and so on). I also feel it is safe to assume that RFK and President Trump spoke to each other about choosing Oz for this department.
So should we be giving this more of a chance to flourish? That is what we all want, is to flourish right?
Dr. Oz is along side RFK which is a good thing yâall
Heâs being spotlighted for a reasonâŚ
Iâm a nurse, people KNOW the dangers of drugs in general. Letâs hold people accountable for their actions though. We all have choices. Just someone to blame for getting messed up, but in the end, YOU had a CHOICE. Now there are âsafeâ injecting sites, seriously?! Tax payers are paying our lifesaving healthcare workers to watch you shoot up? Disgusting, take accountability for yourself and stop blaming everyone else for your addictions. I agree that big pharma is a problem but today, we ALL know opiates are addictive and we have the choice to abuse them.
Give the guy a chance, he was already part of Trump administration before.
He has yet to make a decent choice. Now we will have 3 sexual predatorâs, a brain worm, dog killer, liars, cheaters and a witch doctor.
Why is experience a necessary qualification? If that is the primary criteria, then anyone who has never been president, can never be president. A conundrum to say the least.
I just feel all cabinet members should be vetted, to give the jobs to the most qualified people and who are the most knowledgeable.
I am willing to let him have a chance, but I would have preferred Ben Carson.
I agree. He promotes transgender surgeries, and administration of the toxic vaccines.
Ben Carson would be an amazing pick!
I agree that Dr. Oz is status quo. He is a paper tiger of misinformation and talks to whatever the mainstream promotes. A yes man, I do not see him as a critical thinker or problem solver, just more bureaucracy.
Donât you think thatâs exactly who we want in these positionsâŚpeople who have no ties or affiliations to them? New eyes so to say on old problems.
Exactly. Itâs like the clown car is getting overloaded with Trumpâs disgraceful picks. Itâs like he drew names out of a hat of misfits and charlatans
