Remove All Sexual Exploration from Curriculums and Sexual Exploration Books from K-12 School Libraries

This really should have more votes.

Transgenderism is rising exponentially in this society bc of the trans ideology education in the school systems. This nation needs to go back to teaching scientific facts, there are two genders: XX and XY. There are lobbyists paying the DOE to teach this trans ideology. Thereā€™s a video circulating of a teacher who proudly converted her whole class to trans identity. Thereā€™s first hand accounts of young adults who converted to trans and now suffering from mental instability, medicated therapy, depression, and damaging psychological impact on their family. This is an ideology that needs to be removed from the school system.

Yeah, its called the adult porno sectionā€¦ it used to be in the far back behind a curtain or down/upstairs right?

Thatā€™s exactly what your talking about, pornography in schools and openly available in public places.

Anyone openly distributing porn to minors should be charged with pedophilia. ESPECIALLY TEACHERS! their charges should be more harsh than any! Parents put extreme trust in these ā€œprofessionalsā€ to keep the minds and hearts of our children safe and protected.
Our most precious people are our children.

Why isnā€™t that teacher behind bars? Not only are they molesting the minds of children but they take it a proud step further and announce the sickness they have spread.

Teachers need to be held accountable for their evil acts. There HAS to be a law in place to punish these teachers. They openly admit that they are harming children because there is more protection for preditors than children right now. That HAS to STOP!

I agree there should be a fine/restitution however, the monies should not be drawn from any taxes or school finances. It should be paid out of the personal pocket of the offender(s) as well as any attorney fees.

Any adult who gives a minor inappropriate/sexually explicit materials should be held criminally liable, and no one should be given immunity, particularly school staff.

I agree but for all grades and ages.

Keep out of school libraries but not public libraries. Keep them out of the kids section.

And maybe the books should not be allowed to use cartoons/ drawings that are specifically geared toward children.

Teacher should be punished for discussing their sexual orientation with students. No more pride parades at schools or flags in classrooms. Whether you are straight, gay, or a furry; as a grown adult teacher, that is none of the students business.

Comprehensive Education Reform Policy for a Child-Focused, Skill-Building Curriculum Inspired by Best Global Practices

1. Removal of Inappropriate Materials from School Libraries and Curriculum:
All materials containing explicit sexual content, including but not limited to books that describe sexual behaviors, sexual practices, homosexuality, heterosexuality, pedophilia, bestiality, or any form of sexualization of minors, shall be removed from all school libraries and curricula. Schools should not allow students to access books or materials that promote or normalize inappropriate or sexually explicit content. The content available should be age-appropriate and focused on basic biological education, anatomy, and human development without encouraging sexual behaviors or identities at an early age.

2. Age-Appropriate Sex Education:
Sex education should be limited to basic biological education about human anatomy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and pregnancy prevention. This should be introduced in an age-appropriate manner, beginning no earlier than 10th grade, and focus strictly on factual, scientific information grounded in biology. Gender identity and transgender discussions should be excluded.

3. Restoration of Core Subjects and Basic Living Skills:
Common Core curriculum should be banned immediately. The curriculum should prioritize foundational skills that are essential for success in life, taking inspiration from top-performing schools worldwide:

  • Mathematics: Students must be taught how to understand and perform mathematical operations before using calculators or digital technology. The emphasis should be on building mental math skills, problem-solving, and logical thinking, as is common in countries like Singapore and Japan, where students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts at an early age.
  • English Language Arts: A comprehensive approach to reading, writing, and grammar should be implemented, ensuring all students graduate with the ability to read and write proficiently. This includes developing critical thinking and communication skills, much like Finlandā€™s model, where the focus is on students developing a love of reading and analytical thinking.
  • Practical Life Skills: Schools should reintroduce essential life skills such as cooking, gardening, and personal finance, modeled after countries like Denmark, where education emphasizes sustainability and self-sufficiency. These skills will contribute to studentsā€™ self-sufficiency and well-being and should be incorporated into breakfast and lunch programs, teaching children how to grow and prepare food, thus fostering sustainable living.

4. Early Career Development and Entrepreneurial Education:
From 3rd grade onward, students should be introduced to a broad range of careers and entrepreneurial opportunities. This early exposure, akin to educational practices in South Korea, will help students begin considering their future paths much earlier than the traditional 10th grade, allowing them to explore, dream, and set goals for their education and careers. By the time students reach high school, they should have a clearer sense of direction based on informed decisions and exploration.

5. Parental Control and Access to Curriculum:
Parents must have complete access to the curriculum and teaching materials used in schools. Any significant changes to the curriculum should require parental review and approval. Schools should be required to obtain 100% parental consent before outside instructors or guests are allowed to engage with students. This ensures that all educational content aligns with the values of the families being served. Parental involvement in decision-making, as practiced in Switzerland and other European countries, is vital for a well-rounded educational approach.

6. Focus on Physical and Creative Learning:
Schools should embrace a more balanced and holistic approach to education, inspired by global models that prioritize student well-being. For example, schools in Sweden and Finland incorporate physical activity and outdoor learning, believing that regular movement helps with cognitive function. Physical activity, recess, and outdoor education opportunities should be increased (especially in lower grades and mid day not at the end of the day), while also introducing more creative projects and problem-solving exercises that encourage questioning, exploration, and independent thinking. This approach aims to develop studentsā€™ creativity, social skills, and intellectual curiosity.

7. Eliminate Test-Driven Education:
Stop teaching solely for standardized tests. Education should be aimed at providing a deeper understanding of the subject matter and developing skills that students can use in real-world scenarios. Critical thinking, the ability to research, and the capacity to challenge established theories should be a core focus of education, fostering a generation of thinkers rather than mere test-takers. This practice is similar to the educational model in Finland, where the focus is on learning and growth, not just exam results.

8. Ensuring Basic Educational Competence:
There should be systems in place to ensure that no student graduates without mastering basic skills in reading, writing, math, and research. Students must demonstrate proficiency in these fundamental areas before earning a diploma. Schools should aim to create competent individuals who are capable of thriving in the workforce and society. Like in Singapore, there should be rigorous assessments to ensure students are truly competent and not just meeting basic standards.

9. Internet and Library Restrictions:
In schools and public libraries, internet access should be strictly monitored and restricted to prevent access to inappropriate content, including pornography and other sexualized websites. Access to adult materials in libraries should be limited to an adult section with strict age identification protocols before materials can be accessed or borrowed.

10. Prohibition of Animal Identity and Behavior (Furries):
Children should not be allowed to engage in behaviors that promote or encourage the adoption of animal identities (such as ā€œfurriesā€) or wear outfits that represent animals as part of their school experience. Schools should focus on promoting positive, healthy self-identity and personal development rather than fostering behaviors or identities that may be confusing or distracting at an early age. Schools should emphasize human development, creativity, and academic success.

11. Reduced Focus on Sexual Identity and Exploration:
Sexual behaviors and identities, especially those outside of basic biological education, should not be the responsibility of schools to teach children or teenagers. Schools should focus on fostering a healthy, well-rounded education that emphasizes academic, emotional, and social development, preparing children to lead successful, productive lives without undue emphasis on sexuality and sexual exploration at young ages.

You have to remember though that not everyone has an active parent and school is all they get. Sex education is necessary at all levels, but they need to be different. For example, puberty taught at around 9/10 in gender separated rooms. Then middle school is STDā€™s, and high school is more in depth. Kids are having sex a lot earlier and itā€™s definitely not because of school teachings. They need to be safe and taught. Some kids are molested by family and donā€™t even know itā€™s wrong if theyā€™re not taught so. Now a ā€œhow toā€ is wrong, I agree. But not everyone has the privilege of having someone to teach them these things, and actually itā€™s a pretty large majority.

There need to be stiff penalties for those who abuse our children by putting sexual materials in their libraries and stealing their innocence.

The problem with this is many parents push it onto the school to make sure their kids know about safe sex, their options, and to have the ā€œuncomfortableā€ conversation about the birds and the bees. Until parents want to step up and have these types of conversations with their kids the schools will have to make up for it. Unless you want millions of teen parents running around :woman_shrugging:t3:

Parents are their childrenā€™s first educator. As a previous middle school teacher, we need parents to be involved. I agree 100% regarding curriculum. At the time, 8 years ago, all my lessons were typed and digitally available for any parent to have sent via email.

Though this is an excellent idea in spirit it would be difficult to achieve the desired result. For example, the Bible would be banned as well as some biology and health texts.

It should be part of biology class. When they learn about DNA and genetics, it can be included in that. Lots of farm kids learn about the birds and the bees just from participation in animal breeding programs. Cattle, Sheep, Swine, Rabbits, Chickens, Llamas/Alpacaā€¦ all of these animals are regularly bred on different farms. Genetics play a huge role in breeding programs as well. There is no reason that Sex Ed can not be taught scientifically in combination with HIGH SCHOOL biology classes. It should be centered around the SCIENCE and not the ā€˜ENJOYMENTā€™ or ā€˜PERSONAL PREFERANCESā€™ or ā€˜BEHAVIOURā€™ of sexually active individuals. It is after all SCIENCE where we learn about human development!

That last part- It should be ELIMINATION OF SEXUAL IDENTITY AND EXPLORATION. That is NEVER the place of the School to be taught!

In New Jersey the legislators introduced and passed a bill ā€œThe Freedom to Read Actā€ that egregiously provides immunity to Librarianā€™s and others for making available sexually explicit materials to minors. This is under the guise of inclusive materials and the First Amendment. The legislators (Democrats) even went as far as to endorse the sexually explicit books on their social media posts while promoting this bill. It was blatant and nothing less the predatory. A federal bill must address this with specific language and harsh penalties.

The Bible or biology materials do not contain pornographic images in cartoon form like the books found in school libraries across the country. Specific language can be written in the bill. Iā€™m not sure if your aware of the books that have been inserted into our school libraries over the past two years, but they are highly inappropriate and illegal when made available to minors. And many state legislators for unknown reasons are going out of their way to make sure these books are ushered in without consequence. This is under the guise of inclusivity.

No one should have to survive the public school system. Get rid of the department of education.
