Ashley, you are absolutely correct in your call for deserved compensation. A portion of those money-laundered and stolen funds bought a massive hoard of boats, cars, summer homes, gold and silver, land, stocks and bonds, etc. Perhaps the mis-appropriated money is gone, but those assets are still sitting around, scattered all over the planet, and in the direct possession of corrupt politicians (see: congressional leaders), their immediate families (see.: Chelsea Clinton wedding expenses), military brass and government officials (see: Pentagon and DOD generals), and even corporate CEOs (see: Facebook, Google, old-Twitter, Microsoft), Heads of charitable organizations (see: Catholic Charities), and thousands of corrupt NGO heads and directors.
If a person is wronged and suffers irreparable harm by the actions of another individual, whether via i malfeasance, intentional acts, indirect associations, misprision of felony, fraud, or treason, or even demonstrable neglect, then that injured party is normally compensated by the defendant for pain, suffering, and loss. This is how our judicial system operates. The same applies here, when government officials knowingly and purposely cause financial harm, and pain and suffering, to the American People. The old saying, âNobody is above the law,â rings especially true in this case.
If the American People are ever to trust their government again (they already lost this generation of Americans), then future America need to see that the system worked properly and as expected, even if that system held its own government to account. Compensation is not only expectedâŚit MUST happen, for the future survival of The Republic. Throughout History, many painful events have healed with Time; yet there are other times when painful events manifest into festering wounds that only grow worse. For our nation, this is one of those âother timesâ.
