It is imperative we reform our justice system into a system that provides restitution to the victims!!! The victims need to be made whole, not re-victimized by having to pay for their perpetrators to lift weights, eat meals.
Restorative justice is the biblical model, some examples are thieves must pay back plus 20%, if they can’t then they must work for that person or corporation to pay the debt, murderers, rapists have their lives taken, if someone runs into my car, they pay to have my property restored to me.
This would absolutely encourage them ending of much crime, ease the burden of courts and penal institutions. Let’s be honest, what do they do in there anyway? They talk and learn how to be better criminals. Honor the victims and correct this problem
