Healthcare Insurance needs a major overhaul. Why are we paying for supplemental Dental and Vision that covers absolutely nothing. We all know Good Dental Hygiene is linked to good health, so why isn’t Dental included in our healthcare? If dental coverage was included in our healthcare insurance we would have less sickness due to stronger immune systems. Overall better health brings down costs.

Vision plans also need overhauling, I think they should also be included in healthcare insurance but an updated supplemental plan would be great. One that covers the high cost of contacts and/or glasses, bi focals, tints etc. with at least a $2000 limit per year. I haven’t been able to get glasses in 3 years because my last set of the cheapest bi focals I could get still cost me out of pocket after insurance was $800.

We can do so much better to make America Healthier again, and by fixing our health insurance issues is one step.

Move Healthcare from Treatment based to Prevention based.

"No Free state provided health services. Private Health Insurance should be compulsory.

The insured must pay a deductible maximum of $2,500.

Insurance companies must operate as non profits with mandatory insurance coverage, but as for profit on supplemental plans.

People not employers pay the premiums. If premium is too high, the government gives the person a cash subsidy to help pay premiums, basic coverage only.

Hospitals and skilled nursing facilities need to operate as non profits. Close Veterans Healthcare system. All veterans get benefits via the same system as everyone else at a subsidized level.

People no employers pay the insurance premiums. If premium is too high, then Govt. just gives the person a cash stipend to help pay the premium. Basic level only.

Hospitals and skilled nursing homes must be operated as non-profits.

Government sets the fees for procedures and everyone pays the same.

Eliminate “Pre Approvals”. If a doctor orders a test or procedure, then insurance must pay.
