Reduce Monocalcium Phosphate in our foods!

Monocalcium Phosphate is a acidifying agent that is found in our baked goods, mixes, flours, etc. Excess consumption of this can disrupt bone mineralization, damage the kidneys and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has set an acceptable daily intake (ADI) for phosphates. But here in America, we are far above the “safe level of intake” because we are consuming it in SO MANY of our foods. If we cannot ban it, we need to at least reduce this agent drastically.
