We need to look at finlands school system and mirror ours to theirs. Stop standardized testing immediately and start teaching kids outside of a book or computer. Students in kindergarten and 1st grade need to be learning social skills, life skills, and proper etiquette. High schoolers need to be choosing a career and working towards that career. Special education needs more resources and specialized classrooms that help students succeed past a test. No teacher should have 40 students in their classroom!
