Raw milk legalization act

In 1909, more than half of all the milk consumed in the USA was purchased directly from farms.
By 1960, it became 10%.
By 2001, it was less than 1%.

And most of that farmers milk was raw milk too.

I think of my ancestors story that was included within a local write-up about my great grandpa’s tailor shop. In that article, some of what he talked about was his daily lifestyle and habits.

There is a particular paragraph in the write-up that explains his children’s responsibility to get milk from the local farmer: my great grandma would give her children buckets and tell them to go to the farmer down the street to buy milk. Once they had their buckets filled to the brim with cow milk directly from the utter, they would make their way back down the block to bring the raw milk home for the family.

Most of those same children (my grandpa and uncles/aunts) have lived well into their 80s and 90s. Coincidence. I think not.

The benefits of raw milk are significant and substantial. Look at the graphic I attached below, which shows the DESTRUCTION OF BUILT-IN SAFETY SYSTEMS BY PASTEURIZATION.

Less pasteurization and more raw, pure, effective milk.

Look at the difference.

The data is there!
