There is absolutely no excuse for the lack of quality affordable daycare in the United States. Corporations are flush with cash. All we have to do is give tax incentives to corporations to provide quality affordable on-site care that meets certain minimum standards. It does not have to be a government funded program. It does not have to be administered by the government. It does not have to cost anything to the Parents of young children. If we offer enough tax incentives to corporations, including medium size businesses, and even small businesses, we would immediately see that companies would gladly provide state-of-the-art beautiful high-quality daycare on site for their employees.
Implementing strong double tax incentives for corporations to provide on-site childcare will significantly benefit both employers and employees without requiring government programs. On-site childcare improves employee performance, reduces absenteeism, and enhances work-life balance. It can also boost recruitment, retention, productivity, and loyalty among employees. Offering this benefit can save companies millions by reducing childcare-related absences and improving overall engagement and morale. As the job market becomes more competitive, on-site childcare could become a standard offering to attract and retain top talent.
This allows young mothers to go to school, training, and work and eventually break out of poverty and get off the perpetual welfare system of Section 8 housing, nutrition assistance.
