Public to Private sector revolving door

In politics, a revolving door can refer to two distinct phenomena. Primarily, it denotes a situation wherein personnel move between roles as legislators or regulators in the public sector, and as employees or lobbyists of industries (affected by state legislation and regulations) in the private sector.

Politicians should not be allowed to “retire” from Politics and move into Executive Level positions or high dollar paying positions in areas they had oversight of or had a working relationship with. It allows uncertainty, deceit, and fraud to grow between Politicians and the people they are supposed to be looking out for.

I believe that we should not allow our Congress to be lobbied. Most of the time it just happens that the people with the most money and influence are the ones lobbying and not looking for the best interests of we the people.
