Please read this article explaining:

What exactly are Bioengineered / Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s) and are they Unhealthy? - McLean Meats - Clean Deli Meat & Healthy Meals.

Without a doubt, GMO could create something that’s very, very bad

Just like finding some new fruit in the Amazon

It definitely needs to go through a proper review process, like any other new food

Whether it’s found in the Amazon, GMO, or selectively bred, food can be detrimental - GMO is not inherently bad, is the point

It just has a lot of stigma, and that is bad

Correction, GMO’s are the reason we still have many of the crops we raise today. This whole misconception of all GMO’s being bad for the environment and us is misinformation and if people would simply do their research, they would know that. There is a very short list of crops that have been modified, look it up. We as growers are also burdened with the responsibility of feeding an ever increasing population, but watching the land we are supposed to do that on increase drastically. Farmers are not out here trying to harm the world, we are trying to feed it.

Something most Americans do not know.

Many years ago I was asking my Congressman why they approved GMO in our foods when every other country refused them due to the harm they cause. In fact many countries were refusing foods from us because we used them.

You might be surprised at his answer. “National Security.” We do not have the national resources and have outsourced so much of our food production that we can no longer support the needs of Americans. In a war, when foreign supply chains are always cut, people would starve and unrest would skyrocket.

I was Gobsmacked, could not believe that statement on so many levels. I immediately said, then why in hell are we importing a million new migrants yearly — now open borders? [Now the number could be 24 MILLION PLUS in an endless flood on top of the million yearly?!]

Then my mind immediately took the next leap. So you guys chose to kill us all slowly over time with GMOs in our food or kill us all at once because you allowed the outsourcing of all our resources knowing our own limits were overextended? He said, yeah that pretty much covers it.

Now the icing on the cake. They have since discover GMOs failed to support the increase in yield it promised. So our great leaders poisoned our land and us for nothing. I figured they thought they would be out of office before their dirty little secret was exposed.

Of course the Democrats could be standing with the knife in their hands, dripping blood on the corpse at their feet, and they would still deny they murdered anyone while blaming their need to do it on Trump.

One last reminder, the military thinks we have a war coming with China in the very near future, as little as five years, some suspect less as they can see China gearing up.

Thus now you understand more on why I push to stop these invasions and for you to get your life in order to survive on your own. The gov’t will not save you, PARTICULARLY this one. They will just twist the knife they shoved into your back harder and up into your heart and give your supplies to some foreign country!

For those of us who don’t like the idea of GMO’s contaminating other crops I would want a guarantee that they don’t.

That’s pretty reasonable

I think something like the GMO only growing in very different climates (Avocado example) would help with that

If the GMO only grows in places where the crop it was derived from don’t, then you eliminate the cross-contamination

And the products need to be labeled. I do not want to ingest GMO’s. Our bodies do not like them. I personally think we should absolutely not mess with Mother nature.

I think that’s fair, as long as we label pesticide use, too (whether it’s organic pesticide or synthetic)
