Americans need to stop funding the very sources that are trying to control it. Companies such as Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street control companies, their employees, and their products through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Divesting from these initiatives would take power away from large companies wanting control to implement their policies under the guise of ESG. Many people with 401ks and Thrift Saving Plans (TSP) would like a choice of where their money goes. Proposal would be to mandate each 401k or TSP have non ESG funds available to choose from.
