Proposed Constitutional Amendment: Personal Bodily Autonomy and Medical Decision Rights

Section 1: The right of individuals to have complete authority over their own bodies shall not be infringed. Every person shall have the responsibility and final authority to make personal decisions regarding their own health, including, but not limited to, reproductive choices, medical treatments, body modifications, chiping, markings, tattoos and the use of substances for recreational or medicinal purposes.

Section 2: The government shall have no authority to regulate or restrict an individual’s personal bodily choices or medical decisions, including but not limited to, decisions about pregnancy abortion and reproductive health, elective procedures, and the voluntary consumption or application of substances. This prohibition includes any government interference in determining an individual’s eligibility to have children, the procedures they may elect to undergo, or the substances they may choose to consume or otherwise incorporate into their bodies.

Section 3: This amendment shall supersede any federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or policies that seek to control or restrict the choices covered in Sections 1 and 2, ensuring that every individual’s bodily autonomy is upheld as an unalienable right.
