No omnibus bills.

I agree, open the bills to the public to review with a timeframe long enough for feedback.

In addition to the review period, a common language document for the bill should be produced to better explain it to the people, along with a letter of intent for the bills usage. So the law cannot be used in a manner that it was not intended to represent.

Require all bills to be one subject

Please search and vote for single issue bills for congress. That will solve so many issues, including this one.

How do you prevent bias within the common language document?

F- yes!

This would definitely help keep politicians in view of the public and very much needed.

Agree and they should all be televised so people can see what they are doing at all times. Better yet lets have a platform like this where in real time they get to hear what we think. This way they will have to vote accordingly!

I believe that all bills have to be single issue bills with publicly posted information about these bills to also receive public input on issues. That will help to prevent unnecessary foolish spending. Pork barrel bills usually comes with the threat: if not passed certain part of population like veterans benefits or soldier paychecks will be suffering. Also any bill passed have to obey Constitutional law.

Each topic needing funding needs to be presented individually

GUARANTEED - Donors & Lobbyists see, discuss, debate, challenge the bills, most likely AS or BEFORE they are even written. Congress PROMISES in their campaigns to “Work for us in D.C.” BUT once in the seat, the only people that matter or they listen to is the PAC, Lobbyist, Donor and themselves. SERVING THE PEOPLE ENDS – Until next election cycle. – Another thing they completely forget - Their constituents in their district might elect them, but once they are in D.C. they represent ALL of America’s 350 Million + CITIZENS FIRST…

This should also include their salary raises. They should not obtain raises without the people saying they can. These politicians come in moderate and then leave being millionaires.
