Privacy from Drones

A man recently got arrested for shooting at a drone hovering above his house. Trump is having drones hover over him when golfing. My neighbor constantly tries to send his drone over my house to record my daughters. The drones are getting out of hand.

  1. If any entity wants to fly their drone over a PRIVATE residence they need either a) A warrant or b) written permission and signed affidavit by the OWNER of the residence.
  2. When in public places, such as golf courses, filming a specific person or people, will need to have a signed affidavit by the people who are being filmed. No one should be able to follow, harass, or stalk someone with a done, where there are few places to retreat while continuing to enjoy the activity.
  3. When in public places at public events such as parades, concerts, etc, when there are many people, drone image capture is allowed so long as one person or party is not the entire focus. If the person or party is the entire focus, the person or party can sign an affidavit granting permission for their images to be used.
  4. When a private citizen notices a drone following them, hovering over their property, filming them, watching them, harassing them, the citizen must first wave the drone away. If the drone refuses to leave after 3 attempts, the person has the right to defend their privacy. If this destroys the drone, they are not accountable.
  5. When drones are captured above our government offices, they should be shot down immediately by security or aircraft.

I am not sure this policy is written the best way… but we need to do something to restore our privacy again. The drones are getting out of hand. There was even a report of drones hovering over the white house.
