Corporate ownership of residential property should generally be included in this restriction, as it is unlikely to benefit the public. Individuals who own property under a corporate name for financial, liability, or anonymity reasons will need to seek alternative methods. If a corporation requires housing, they can rent, lease, or own property within commercially zoned areas. Should residential property need to be rezoned for corporate use, such decisions should be made by the local residents, who should also be compensated for the resulting reduction in the availability of residential land with potentially higher costs.
