Eliminate plastic bags used in packaging for crackers, cookies, cereal, nuts, rice etc. inside of boxes. If you don’t eat them right away past the best buy date they are still good except that they taste and smell like plastic. So much it makes you want to vomit just smelling it. That must mean that the plastic is seeping into the food the whole time. There are plastics that do not do this. I now bring my food home and put them in zip lock bags which do not make them smell and taste like plastic at a later date.
