PLANT MEDICINE should be tested, considered, and researched within HHS and CDC for healing various issues such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and so on

Plant medicine needs to be considered for the healing of various ailments, but also much more than that:

  1. Depression
  2. Anxiety
  3. PTSD
  4. Diabetes and other ailments
  5. Consciousness expansion
  6. Helpful in answering questions about our past

I have done 32 Ayahuasca ceremonies in just one year, I have tried Psylocybin, Wachuma, Kambo, and others for the healing of my own Anxiety, PTSD, unanswered questions, and so on. I have learned how helpful these various medicines are especially when done correctly with the right Shaman / Plant Medicine worker.

Many questions can be answered about your past, many events explained so that you no longer hold grudges / resentment / hate, and many questions can be answered about religion / the universe / other dimensions.

Plant medicine needs to be tested for their positive effects just as much as pharmaceutical drugs, if not more. These medicines have been used for decades in the healing of various diseases and phenomena. Most diseases are just that… a dis-ease… and many stem from a spiritual / physical / psychological imbalance. Once these things are addressed, the human body can heal itself / go back to normal especially if they have undergone a traumatic event such as a Sexual Assault, or being in a war zone, or being part of parental abuse / spousal abuse.

We need to stop thinking that we can just shove pills down peoples throats, or that chemo-therapy is the only way to treat cancer, or that Prozac is the only way for depression, and so on. There are OLD medicines that have been used for centuries and we need to RESPECT this and RESPECT the people that serve it, and also make it LEGAL in this country to use these!

For example, just one session of Iboga (a plant from Africa) can re-wire a persons neuro-transmitters so that they stop being addicted to Heroine… but is that used here or even allowed? NO - most people have to go to Mexico, or Peru, or other countries to try these medicines… including Ayahuasca. This needs to end.

We need to INCORPORATE PLANT MEDICINEs into our healing modalities, as much as chemical drugs if not more and this needs to be done asap!
May Kennedy get confirmed into HHS so things like this can be turned around!!!

While definitions are more complex with plant medicine (given that environmental factors and plant genes can all change their effects) I still strongly agree. We can’t have the CDC preventing people from advertising demonstrable effects of non-pharmaceutical treatments. In order to do this properly though, you may have to establish some new definitional systems, possibly around branding (Like how we use “Organic” or “non-GMO” to mean specific things about how the plant was bred and raised), where you can say that certain plants, treated and raised in well defined ways have demonstrated effects.
