Plant Based Protein - to add in FDA major food allergens and label boldly in packages and restaurants

My son is not only allergic to peanuts but to all types of legumes ( all kinds of beans, peas, lentils). While plant-based protein is healthy and popular, it is hidden all over in types of food like pasta, meat, chips. etc. Unfortunately it is a poison to my son.
We were in LAX airport this past summer, ordered breakfast sandwich ( egg & bacon) and he developed a severe allergic reaction that required 2 epinephrine shots in the airport, ending him up in ER. A few days later, after calling the coffee/food chain owner, we found out that there was a MUNG BEAN in the eggs. The owner said that the EGG was PLANT BASED. We would have never thought of it .
This is why it is highly important for public food establishments and food packages to add plant based protein in the labels as one of the allergens. Thank you!
