Physical fitness goals for students

Physical fitness in schools has history going back to Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy. As we improve our children’s health, emphasis on physical fitness will benefit the individual and nation.

Improving physical abilities has a positive impact on self esteem and likely reduce mental heath problems.

Individual accomplishments plus group accomplishments can create pride and camaraderie and less social isolation within the students.

Outdoor activities would increase Vitamin D which has dropped drastically among children who are plugged into electronic devices for many hours of the day.
