Pharmacies not allowed in grocery stores

Grocery store & pharmacy just don’t go together. Not only are sick people coming into a food market and touching food, but the pharmacies are dispensing live vaccines. People shed live vaccines.

Examples of live vaccines include:

  • Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine

  • Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine

  • Live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV), commonly known as the nasal spray flu vaccine

  • Rotavirus vaccines (RV1, RV5)

  • Oral typhoid vaccine (Ty21a)

  • Yellow fever vaccine

  • Oral adenovirus vaccine

  • Bacille Calmette Guerin (BCG) vaccine

  • Dengue vaccine

  • Ebola vector vaccine

  • Smallpox vaccine (ACAM2000)

  • Jynneos smallpox/monkeypox vaccine
