Petro-pyrolysis: Recovery of liquid hydrocarbons (e.g. fuel oil & gas) through the recycling of mixed plastics and used tires

Currently, just 10% of plastic waste is recycled. For the other 90%, I propose developing the emerging technology of petro-pyrolysis, which is the conversion of oil-based products, such as mixed plastics and waste tires, into hydrocarbon liquids. For example, the output of the waste-tire plant in Haiti includes fuel oil and combustible gas, which can enhance the output of drilling operations. The following articles provide more information:
