Paying for deportation of illegal aliens

  1. Tax remittances. Approximately $80B is sent by legal immigrants and illegal aliens to their home countries each year. This is $80B taken out of our economy. It should be taxed bybat least 10% to help defray deportation costs.

  2. Penalize countries for each of their citizens discovered to be in the U.S. illegally, including visa overstay. The U.S. gives approximately $70B in foreign aid to 210 countries/regions. Create a fee schedule to penalize, by a reduction in aid, any aid-receiving country for each of their citizens found here illegally. Additionally, bill said country for all costs pertaining to their deportation. https://www.foreignassistance.gov

  3. Any country refusing to accept their citizens found to be here illegally shall have any and all aid suspended immediately until they agree to and accept provisions of second point. They may also have sanctions imposed against them.

I would add to stop all foreign financial aid to all foreign entities altogether, although it is a little off subject, but especially the NGOs, UN, NATO, etc. Good ideas

I used to feel that way, but it’s very impractical for many reasons. One is that, like it or not, we are THE world superpower. There isn’t anyone else. And with that title, comes some perks, and some responsibilities. For one, the USD is the world’s reserve currency, and is one reason we have the largest economy.

To your point, we should have penalties for countries that receive aid, when they don’t actively assist in preventing their citizens from illegally entering the U.S. They should also ensure citizens from other countries aren’t using their country as a pass-through to the United States.

Also to your point, the NGOs, UN, etc. should at least be put on notice that they will suffer consequences if they don’t abide by U.S, policy. NGOs are some of the worst run money pits in existence, so I would like to cut funding to them. I would also like to kick the UN out of the U.S. There are several emerging economies that I feel certain would love to host them.

NATO is a different animal because we would have to pull out of the treaty, which would mean pulling all of our troops out of Europe. Which might not be a bad idea, but which also might be shortsighted, as Putin’s Russia is trying to return to the Soviet days. I really have to think on this one.
