Paid Sick Time

I propose that all companies offer so many paid sick days/year (maybe 4 days, one per quarter). I work for Advocate/Aurora Healthcare, and when I am sick, they pay me from my PTO bank.

I work for a company, too, that offers PTO, and am so grateful for it. However, I’m not a fan of mandating all companies do it. (Another regulation - ugh) Instead, get the economy booming and there will be more jobs than people. This will naturally drive companies to offer more competitive compensation packages including PTO. If it’s required, many companies will have to lay off employees in order to afford it.
