Our rights are threatened by propaganda which is supporting actual paid protestors. This defies our true 1st Amendment rights. Paid protestors provide a vale of what is truly in the hearts of people. Regardless of party affiliation, we should not allow the perversion of truth through paid propaganda taking on the form of protesting.
It is time to restore integrity to the process of redress and citizen representation. Congress must pass legislation that bans professional protestors—those paid to influence public policy—from staging demonstrations designed to influence elected officials. These organized, financially backed actors do not represent the grassroots will of the people. They distort the civic process by elevating the will of “special interests” above the will and voice of lawful citizens who are neither paid nor resourced to influence elected officials in order to sway legislative outcomes.
Congress is constituted by representatives of “we, the people,” not of paid mobs masquerading as public sentiment. When professional paid protestors dominate visibility, the citizen majority is silenced. This practice corrupts democratic engagement and undermines the legitimacy of grassroots advocacy.
I urge Congress to take decisive action. It is essential to preserve the authenticity of public input and safeguard the dignity of our representative institutions. We must protect our national security by listening to the voices of the people and not to outside influences that do not represent their will.
Ban paid protestors from influencing the policies of the government.
