To combat unhealthy choices, do the following:
- Create a list of standards (ie no artificial colors, limits on added sugar, etc.)
- Products meeting standards can package food how they wish.
- Products outside of standards can only use grayscale packaging
Imagine a grocery store where unhealthy food choices all blend together on the shelves, while healthy choices and produce stand out.
Give companies two years to choose between improving their product or designing black and white packaging.
