Any aid package going to a foreign country aught to be required to go through Congressional appropriations bills. National fiscal priorities should come before international aid.
There should be language put in a bill each year specifically titling what those priorities are.
I don’t think we should be providing aid to ANY country. Not unless its an emergency situation. To many governments are corrupt. Not to mention it’s their responsibility to run their country. Now if we join a war effort. Yes our troops would be there funded by us. But we are not there to"rebuild" your country. That’s their responsibility not ours.
