We should have online Poker just like the majority of the world, and to be able to play with the world. Not just the United States. Why not regulate it and tax it like everything else to help generate revenue. Only a few states in this country allow it. It used to be huge way back when before “Black Frida” hit and basically shut down all poker websites. Now anyone who wants to play and not in a legal states just use offshore websites, not regulated, can’t promise fair games, bots. Not using USD currency, missing out on opportunity. This is the land of the free and I can’t play poker on my couch on a Sunday. With sports betting becoming more and more popular there is no reason this shouldn’t be on the table and able to get done quickly.

People can bet on sports but they cannot play poker? The only reason it is illegal is because the owner Seldon Adelson of the las vegas Sands hotel lobbied for online poker to be illegal so he would make more money. Texas holdem is as American as it can be!!!
Right now the online poker websites are ran in shady countries with backdoors and cheating. The moment it would be legal again in the USA, there would be much more regulation which would be good for the game. Online poker is a joke now, because there are so many cheating bots. It would be awesome if American poker websites could hosts honest games again. Its also a game of skill and even if there was an element of gambling; as you can see sports betting is legal. So there is absolutely NO reason online poker should be illegal!!
