As a contractor working for the DHS as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Program Manager with the DHS Joint Wireless Project Program Management Office team, providing project management support for program office projects, tactical communications, Next Generation tactical communication equipment and services while managing and delivering complex Interoperable Land Mobile radio (LMR) projects. I am aware the the various US government departments, such as CBP, FBI, the US Secret Service and other various departments do not share each other frequencies or networks, which cause an over use of spectrum allocated unnessesairly. The FCC should require these agencies to put together plans on how to illiminate the redundancies thereby allowing more spectrum to be released back to the private sector.
