On Dual-Citizenship, Foreign Agents, and Foreign-Influence Organizations

I originally proposed this on the other site, but realized it was also a policy.

So, I’m re-porting it here:

「 As a dual-citizen myself, I oppose the idea of not allowing fellow-duals from holding office, given they’re also U.S. citizens. We must be treated as equals. (14th Amendment)

BUT at the same time: A.I.P.A.C. (American Israel Public Affairs Committee)! W.T.F.‽ (If this were Moscow or Beijing, wouldn’t hear the end of it. But, THIS is okay‽) HELL NO, there must be a mid-ground solution. I propose: 「Make full use of the “Foreign Agents Registration Act” (Pub. L. 75–583). Expand it, if need be. BUT, ENFORCE it, actually & equally.」

All duals (elected-officials, civil-servants, contractors, security-personnel, etc.) MUST register, and there MUST be a blatant badge or indicator on their uniform/work-wear/public-communications reporting all other countries of allegiance, for FULL disclosure & proper regulation. The same goes with organizations like A.I.P.A.C.

For ANY jurisdiction wanting this much influence in Washington, they must 1st seek admission to our Union. Otherwise, NOPE! NO way!」

What do you think?

I don’t like it at all…ALLEGIANCE is questionable when you have dual citizenships! And if you find out there is one country that the US politicians have the most in line with, my concerns are: Are there infiltrators now in the US government making decisions to bring down our country from within. It would be an unconventional war. NO DUAL CITIZENSHIPS!

Understandable. (If they can’t compartmentalize, they can indeed be a security-concern. Personally, my cope is this: When dealing with Washington, America 1st in terms of letters/petitions. When dealing with the other nation, that nation 1st. When both countries’ interests clash, I send them both letters/petitions, and it’s up to them now to sort it out.)

But also consider, it takes 1 to know 1. With full disclosure, compatriots can monitor each other and report anything fishy others wouldn’t notice. (Now of course, HOW to identify non-compartmentalizers, since they’re most likely to be problematic.)

Have you viewed how many politicians have dual citizenship to a specific country?
Why does the US allow this?
